No Water, No Heat: Water Main Break Closes Bridgeport's Main Library BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Bridgeport's Burroughs-Saden Library was closed Tuesday, Jan. 2, due to a water main break.  The downtown library is expected to reopen Wednesday, Jan. 3, with regular business hours.  On Tuesday, the library at 925 Broad St. had no water and, therefore, no heat due to the water main break, the city said.  Due to the lack of water, no bathroom facilities were available.
