Woman Killed In Murder-Suicide In Region ID'd As Beloved Library Director
A Connecticut woman killed by her police sergeant husband was a beloved library director.
The couple was found shot to death in Hartford County in East Granby, on Sunday, Aug. 28 at 6 p.m., and were identified as T.J. Jacius, age 49, and Doreen Jacius, age 48, both of East Granby.

Jacius was a police sergeant for Avon Police Department where he worked for 24 years, the Avon Police said.

A man who worked at Reader's Digest in Westchester County for decades has died at the age of 63.
Dutchess County resident Robert Riley-Brown, of Wappingers Falls, died at New York Presbyterian Milstein Heart Center on Saturday, Aug. 20, according to his obituary.
He was born in the Litchfield County town of Sharon, Connecticut.
According to his obituary, Riley-Brown worked as a supervisor at the Global Data Center at Reader's Digest in Pleasantville for 27 years, and he later worked at IBM in Poughkeepsie, his obituary said.

Successful Financial Executive In Massachusetts Dies At Age 61
A native New Yorker who lived in the Boston area and was a successful financial executive has died at the age of 61.
Suzanne Marie Irwin, of Charlestown, Massachusetts, who grew up in Westchester County, died peacefully on Wednesday, Aug. 17, after 13-month illness with Glioblastoma, her obituary said.
She grew up in Larchmont and graduated from Mamaroneck High School, according to her obituary.
Irwin also received a bachelor's degree from Stonehill College in Massachusetts and an MBA from Iona College in New Rochelle.

Worcester police said identified the man who died in a hit-and-run crash along I-290 late Saturday night, Aug. 13, as a former star basketball star and father of a 4-year-old boy.
Jamal Mustapha, 27, was a standout player on the court at Doherty High School, where he graduated in 2013, reports said. Nicknamed Lucky Lefty, Mustapha played at UMass-Dartmouth for a season before he transferred to Worcester State University, where he played two seasons. His son Kyrie was born around this time.
