1 Woman Killed, Another Seriously Injured In 2-Vehicle West Islip Crash One woman was killed and another seriously injured in a two-vehicle Long Island crash. It happened just before 2:30 a.m. Saturday, May 11 in West Islip. The driver of a 2023 Infiniti Q50 was traveling westbound on Union Boulevard, just east of Route 231, when the vehicle lost control and side-swiped a westbound 2020 Hyandai Sonata causing both vehicles to crash, Suffolk County Police said.
