The Memorial Day weekend race is the largest annual fundraiser for the Weston High School Parent-Teacher Organization, and helps sponsor educational programs and improvements at the school. This year’s race is scheduled for May 25, rain or shine, and also includes a “fun run” for kids.
The organizers are looking for both family and corporate sponsors for the race. Families who contribute $50 or more can have their names placed on the race’s logo and T-shirts. Corporate sponsors can sign up to sponsor a mile marker or can contribute items to the “goodie bag” for runners.
Those interested can sign up as a sponsor or register to run at the race website. Donations are also accepted at Active.com.
