Westport's baseball and softball registration is now open for the spring 2011 season. Spring and summer programs are available for girls and boys from kindergarten (must be 5 years old before May 1 for baseball, Jan. 1 for softball) into college (summer teams).
You can sign up on the register online links on the new website, which can also be accessed from the former site. Evaluations for baseball (grades 3 through 8) and softball (grades 1 through 9) are Feb. 12 with a guaranteed registration cutoff date of Feb. 1. There are no evaluations for kindergarten through second grade, but guaranteed registration ends March 1. Evaluation for summer high school and college teams will be immediately after the high school season.
