Westport's Everett Sussman Chosen As Governor's Scholar

WESTPORT, Conn. -- A junior at Westport's Staples High School was recently named a Governor's Scholar, according to the Westport News.

Everett Sussman was just one of 30 recipients of the honor out of 150 applicants throughout the state. Sussman participates in debate, is a member of the math team, is a pianist with Wreckers In Tune and is an officer of the hiking club, the Westport News said.

On top of this, Sussman is ranked in the top 5 percent of his class. He will be honored at a luncheon on May 22, the Westport News reported.
