WESTPORT, Conn. – If you ever wondered how much money your child’s school principal or other Westport school administrators make, a list released Tuesday by the district shows the Top 50 salaries of 2012.
Superintendent Elliott Landon made the most with a salary of $287,899. Assistant Superintendent for Business Nancy Harris followed at $205,344.
Other tops earners include principals. Coleytown Middle School Principal Kris Szabo made $159,493.
Staples High School Principal John Dodig brought home $158,459. Susie DaSilva, principal of Kings Highway School, earned $156,238 last year.
Greens Farms School Principal John Bayers, Saugatuck Elementary Principal Julie Droller and Long Lots Principal Michael “Rex” Jones each earned $155,238.
Janna Bell, principal of Coleytown Elementary, made $150,071.
Bedford Middle School Vice Principals Denise Emmerthal and Anthony Formato each made $145,415. (Former Bedford Middle School Principal Melissa Kay resigned effective July 1, 2012. Current Principal Adam Rosen started in August. Neither is on the list.)
