The workshops foster academic achievement by teaching students key study strategies that help them learn while reducing stress. Students will learn 10 essential, logical and easy-to-implement skills that are essential for successful learning and studying: goal setting, time management, note-taking methods, asking questions, active reading, understanding main ideas and important details, using visuals, summarizing to learn, notebook organization, and quiz, test, and long-term project preparation strategies. S4 program provides materials that complement and outline the workshop sessions. They are designed for ongoing student support at home. Each three-workshop session costs $395. The workshops run from 10:30 a.m. until noon.
