Westport Schools On Two-Hour Delay Thursday

WESTPORT, Conn. – Due to road conditions following the overnight snowfall, all Westport Public Schools will open on a two-hour delay Thursday morning, Superintendent Elliott Landon announced in a phone message.

As such, buses will run approximately two hours later than normal, Landon said. Stepping Stones Preschool, he added, will not have a morning session.

Although schools are opening two hours later than they normally do, all school offices will open on time, Landon said.

Both private schools in Westport also have delays. Greens Farms Academy will open at 10 a.m. and the Pierrepont School will open at 11 a.m.

The following schools are also opening on delays:

▪ Christ & Holy Trinity Preschool (opening at 10:30 a.m.)

▪ Earthplace Nursery School (opening at 10 a.m.)

▪ Greens Farms Nursery School (opening at 10 a.m.)

▪ Old Hill Children's Day School (opening at 9:30 a.m.)

▪ Saugatuck Nursery School (opening at 11 a.m.)

▪ St. Paul Christian School Westport (opening at 10 a.m.)
