As Storm Approaches, Westport Schools Call Another Snow Day

WESTPORT, Conn. — With 8 to 12 inches of snow in the forecast, Westport schools and Board of Education offices will be closed Thursday, Feb. 13, Superintendent Elliott Landon announced Wednesday evening. 

All school activities scheduled for Thursday will be canceled or rescheduled for a later date. Students and parents are asked to check with their school on Friday for updates.

The storm is expected to begin overnight and continue all day Thursday, according to the National Weather Service. A Winter Storm Warning for Fairfield County will be in effect from midnight through 6 a.m. Friday.
