Deputies from the sheriff's office were called shortly after 12:30 a.m. on April 3 to the 46000 block of Midway Drive, where there was a reported incident that left a pair with injuries during a dispute.
Investigators say that a man used a weapon to strike two people inside the home during a confrontation. He then left the area before deputies could arrive at the residence.
The incident remains under investigation. One person was taken to an area hospital by paramedics for treatment and evaluation of undisclosed injuries.
