The event, scheduled to take place at The Hammond Museum, 28 Deveau Road, will allow the nonprofit to collect donations to be used toward the goal of helping "young adults understand and use the concepts of communication, self-discipline and self-respect in relationships."
The organization was begun after the 2005 murder of Elizabeth Butler, a 17-year-old North Salem High School student who was killed by an older man she had dated.
In the years since Butler's death, the nonprofit bearing her name has worked to raise awareness of abuse, teach young people about their value and help people identify possible warning signs of an abusive relationship.
