What To Do In White Plains This Weekend

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. – A baseball card show, a GED Class and a craft workshop for kids are a few of the events happening in White Plains this weekend.

The Baseball Card Show comes back to White Plains at the Westchester County Center March 22 through March 24.

Friday

Baseball Card Show: 2 to 8 p.m. Baseball legends Dave “Cobra” Parker, Ron Hansen, Bobby Richardson and more athletes will sign autographs at the Spring baseball card show. Football legends Jay Novacek, Randy White and Leroy Kelly will also be at the event, which will also be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.  For a complete list of athletes and the days they will be there visit JP’s Sports and Rock Solid Promotions. Saturday

Saturday GED Class: 10 a.m. to noon. Get ready to take the GED test in this drop in class for adults, ages 16 and older. Space is limited. First come, first served. White Plains Library, 100 Martine Ave.

Sunday

Fairy Houses, A Play Workshop: 2 to 3:30 p.m. The Westchester Children's Museum will lead a craft workshop on making fairy houses for children in first through sixth grade. Each child will make a house, then arrange them in a village for the parents and younger siblings to view at 3:30 pm. There is limited space. Arrive 30 minutes before the program when tickets are handed out. White Plains Library, 100 Martine Ave.
