The vote was taken by the RTC at its regular meeting Jan. 10.

“I am gratified to have Brooke join our committee," RTC Chair Bob Ferguson said. "She brings a lifelong dedication to the Republican Party as well as knowledge and skills that will help move our party forward in Weston.”

Valenti has lived in Weston for 16 years.  She grew up in Westport and helped to found the Young Republican Club at Staples High School. Her son, Thomas, is following in her footsteps and was among a group of Weston High School students who recently founded a Young Republicans Club at WHS.

She serves on the board of Weston Arts and supports the high school arts programs, including Company and the wind ensemble.  She counts Lachat Farm and the Alder Sherman Classic Car Show among her other community activities.

Valenti is a digital marketing consultant for global brands.  She holds degrees from Union, Stanford and Yale.  She said she is a “doer” and would like to use her expertise to expand the voice and visibility of the RTC in Weston.

The Weston RTC meets on the second Tuesday of the month.  Members of the public are welcome to attend.
