WESTPORT, Conn. -- A Westport woman is facing two counts of assault on a peace officer after allegedly biting two police officers and an EMT responding to a domestic violence call on Saturday, Nov. 29, according to thehour.com.

Alexandra Skiffington, 26, was arrested after taking her boyfriend's Land Rover without his permission and damaging the vehicle, police told The Hour. Police responded to the incident at the boyfriend's residence where they found Skiffington agitated and smelling of alcohol, thehour.com reported.

Skiffington became violent after police handcuffed her, attempting to break a window on the police cruiser, thehour.com said. She then bit the EMT and two police officers while they were attempting to administer a sedative, thehour.com said.

Skiffington was arraigned Wednesday and held on $25,000 bond, thehour.com said.
