Danielle Yingling was charged with operating under the influence, failure to drive right and traveling unreasonably fast. She was posted $500 bond and will appear in court April 30.
Police received calls Sunday about an erratic driver in the area of Canal Street. The callers gave a description of the car, the license plate number and the direction of travel, police said. An officer located the vehicle and began following it, police said. The officer saw the car commit several motor vehicle violations before stopping it on Richmondville Avenue, police said.
An officer spoke to the driver, Yingling, and detected the odor of alcohol on her breath, according to police reports. She failed a field sobriety test and was arrested. Police said that her breath test results showed a blood alcohol content of .232 and .229.

- Police responded to a home Sunday on a threatening complaint between a husband and wife, police said. A 50-year-old Westport man was arrested and charged with breach of peace. He was issued a summons to appear in court April 20.
- Police responded to a home Sunday on a report of a disturbance between a boyfriend and girlfriend. Officers learned a 53-year-old Weston woman had become physical with her boyfriend, according to police. She was charged with disorderly conduct and issued a summons to appear in court April 20.
