WESTPORT, CONN. -- A Westport mom who called police to report having problems with an ex-boyfriend, ended up being arrested herself, police said.
Lisa Gyselen, 44, was so intoxicated when police officers arrived at her home on Wednesday, April 27, that she had to lean on a wall for support, police said.
Gyselen’s two children were at home with her, police said.
Police said that Gyselen was “uncooperative” and was yelling about things the responding officer “could not understand.”
Furthermore, she was unsteady on her feet, smelled of alcohol, and had to hold onto the wall to stand up, police said.
It was determined that Gyselen was not in a fit state to care for her children. Officers said they were able to locate someone to look after them.
She was charged with two counts of risk of injury to a child and held on $1,000 bond, police said.
It was not immediately known if Gyselen made bail.
