WESTPORT, Conn. -- A Westport man was arrested on drug charges in Stratford after police found more than 1,000 oxycodone pills in his car, according to ctnews.com.

The Stratford Narcotics Unit found Christopher Klein, 45, sitting in a vehicle at the Stratford Conference Center after they received a tip that a drug deal would be taking place there, ctnews.com reported.

A K-9 unit was called to search Klein's car and found the tablets, the story said. Stratford and Westport police then searched Klein's home and found more medication that he did not have a prescription for, ctnews.com said.
