WESTPORT, Conn. The Westport Fire Department was recently recognized by the Connecticut Interlocal Risk Management Agency for developing a vehicle inspection system that detects early equipment problems and prevents accidents, Chief Andrew Kingsbury announced.
The program has reduced property losses by helping to identify equipment deficiencies before they become problems, Kingsbury said.
