Update: Post Road East In Westport Reopened After Accident

Update, 1:20 p.m. WESTPORT, Conn. -- Post Road East in Westport is reopen following a serious accident Friday morning, police said.

Post Road East from Compo Road to Hillspoint Road was closed for an extended period of time following the accident, police said. 

One person was sent to the hospital as a result of the crash. Police said the cause of the accident is still under investigation.
