Daniel Gatson, 18, of Elizabeth Street, Ridgefield, N.J., turned himself in to Westport Police on Monday after learning there was an outstanding warrant for his arrest.

In January, Westport officers were called to a Main Street shop on a report of a theft of the boots, valued at $1,225. Gatson and an accomplice were identified when they were arrested two days later at another story in another theft, police said.

Gatson was charged with fourth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit fourth-degree larceny, police said.

He was unable to post $1,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on July 21, police said.
