Police: Blanket-Wearing Man Exposes Self To Neighbor In Westport

WESTPORT, Conn. — A Westport man was arrested after he left his home wearing only a blanket and then exposed himself to a female neighbor, police said.

The victim said she was checking her mail on Tuesday when her neighbor, identified as 59-year-old John Blackman of Hales Court, said something to her and then opened the blanket, exposing his genitals, police said.

He was charged with public indecency and was released on a promise to appear in court on Oct. 31.
