Fairfield Police: Honda, Hyundai, Dirt Bike Stolen Over The Weekend

FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Residents reported three stolen vehicles over the weekend, including a dirt bike that the owner was showing a potential buyer who took it on a test drive and never returned.

An Unquowa Road resident reported his 2014 Hyundai Equus stolen sometime between 5 p.m. Friday and 9:45 a.m. Saturday, police said.

Someone stole a lime green Honda Civic on Merton Street over the same night, police said. The car was unlocked and the keys were left inside, as were three Beats headphones, a black purse, a People’s United Bank card and a phone charger, police said.

A resident was showing a green Kawasaki KX85 dirt bike to a potential buyer he met in the Kohl’s parking lot on Tunxis Hill Road around 4:30 p.m. Saturday. The man got on the bike and headed south on Greenfield Street and did not return, police said.
