WESTPORT, Conn. -- A Bridgeport woman was arrested on a warrant in court Wednesday in connection with a home burglary in Westport back in July 2014 in which a large amount of jewelry was stolen, police said.
Westport police officers went to Bridgeport Superior Court on Wednesday, to serve an arrest warrant on Raisa Santos, 22, police said.
The arrest warrant stemmed from a lengthy investigation into the burglary on July 7, police said, at a Riverfield Drive residence in Westport, police said.
The follow-up investigation by the Detective Bureau found the suspect selling the jewelry stolen from the burglary to a pawn shop, police said.
Santos was charged with first-degree larceny and first-degree conspiracy to commit larceny.
She was held on $10,000 bond and has a court date of April 17 at Norwalk Superior Court.
