WESTPORT, Conn. -- A 28-year-old Bethel man was charged with driving under the influence after Westport police stopped him Thursday and tests showed his blood alcohol level was twice the legal limit, police said.
Police said Walter Goodkind was driving at a high rate of speed when police spotted his car at about 1 a.m. Thursday on Allen Raymond Lane. After officers smelled alcohol on his breath, he failed the field sobriety test, police said.
