WESTPORT, Conn. -- William Weeks II, a resident of Westport, died Friday, Jan. 29. He was 65.
Born July 7, 1950, in Bridgeport, Conn., he was the son of William Richard and Pauline O. (Kovacs) Weeks.
He was a Vietnam Army veteran and received a bachelor's degree in social work.
He also was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church in Westport, the D.A.V. and American Legion Post 63,
He is survived by his sisters, Susan Reese and Paula (Edward) Barta; brother Thomas R. Weeks; nieces Joy Cave and Penny Szymczak; nephews Christopher Leavitt, Daniel Szymczak, Luke and Benjamin (Jennifer) Barta; great-nieces and nephews Hailey and Bailey Barta, Justin, Nate and Ava; cousins Marlene, Mickey, Frank and Pam; and aunt Josephine Kovacs.
He was predeceased by his parents; former wife Peggy Ann Randal; and uncle Frank Kovacs.
Friends are invited to attend a funeral at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Luke Church, 49 Turkey Hill Road North, Westport. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery in Wilton.
