WESTPORT, Conn. - Theresa Falasco, a lifelong resident of Westport, died Wednesday, Dec. 3. She was 101.
Falasco was born Jan. 17, 1913, in Westport, to Salvatore and Geneva (Barber) Gilbertie. She was a member of Assumption Church in Westport and a longtime member of the Catholic Daughters.
Falasco is survived by her daughters, Claudette Foley of Westport, Beverly Valiante (Joseph) of Westport, Arlene Benincaso of Norwalk; son, Henry Falasco (Susan) of Prospect; sister, Antonette Doddo of Westport; four grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Henry Falasco; and brother, Lester Gilbertie.
Calling hours are Friday, Dec. 5 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Harding Funeral Home, 210 Post Road East, Westport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6 at Assumption Church, 98 Riverside Ave., Westport. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery, 223 Richards Ave., Norwalk.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Assumption Church or Visiting Nurse of Trumbull.
