WESTPORT, Conn. - Michael L. Starzyk, 98, of Westport, died Saturday, May 9.
He was born July 7, 1916, in Chicopee, Mass., to the late Antonia and Paul Peter Starzyk.
He worked at Sikorsky Aircraft for 46 years, retiring as the head of engineering services.
Starzyk also was a member of the YMCA Wise Men.
Survivors include his wife, Galy Lapin Starzyk; one daughter, Nona J. Starzyk of Danbury; one sister, Gene Real; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces.
Four sisters, Mary Martha, Cecelia, Adonia, and Dorothy; and one brother, Stanley, preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 16, at St. Paul’s on the Green, 60 East Ave., Norwalk.
Collins Funeral Home, Norwalk, is handling the arrangements.
