WESTPORT, Conn. -- Judith Gallen, a Westport resident, died in her home on Sunday, Dec. 28. She was 81.
Gallen was an avid painter, reader and a grand socialite who was born on Oct. 31, 1933.
She is survived by her four children, Jim Gallen of Texas; Andrew Gallen and his wife, Amy, of Redding, Conn.; Peter Gallen and his wife, Wendy, of Tucson, Ariz.; and Sarah Gallen and her wife, Felice Zwas, of Stamford; and her grandchildren Derek, Jason, Christopher, Samuel, Elizabeth and Abigail.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lustgarten Foundation for pancreatic cancer research. Arrangements are by Evergreen Mortuary and Cemetery, www.evergreen-tucson.com.
