Elizabeth Gayle Kingsbury Ferencz, 60, Longtime Westport Resident

WESTPORT, Conn. - Elizabeth Gayle Kingsbury Ferencz, a resident of Westport for the past 32 years, died Monday May 19. She was 60.

Ferencz was born June 20, 1953, in Bronxville, she was the daughter of Richard W. Kingsbury and Helen Stone Kingsbury. She resided with her family in Pelham, and graduated from Pelham Memorial High School. She attended the College of New Rochelle and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Ursinus College. She worked in New York City as a literature analyst for LSI Inc. Later she became brokerage manager for Insurance Trends, Inc., in Westport. She was a member of the Anne Hutchinson Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Bullard Memorial Farm Association. She was a volunteer at the Westport Historical Society.

Ferencz is survived by her husband, Jack; son, Matthew Kingsbury Ferencz; father, Richard; sisters, Cynthia Kingsbury Cristofaro (Joseph) of Eastchester and Judith Bogardus Hess (Mark) of Langhorne, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother, Helen.

A Memorial Service for Ferencz will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, May 24 at the Huguenot Memorial Presbyterian Church, 901 Pelhamdale Ave., Pelham Manor, NY 10803.
