WESTPORT, Conn. – Edward Joseph Tarnok, 69, of Westport, died Monday, July 20.
A resident of Westport for over 33 years, he was a successful businessman and a distinguished Vietnam veteran. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and loved to play golf and watch sports.
He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Audrone; daughter Jennifer (Ajay); son James (Traci); son Brian (Courtney); daughter Kristin (Phillip); and son Mark; seven grandchildren; two brothers; a stepson; and a grand-stepson.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Joan, and a son, Edward, Jr.
The family will receive friends Thursday, July 23 from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. in the Harding Funeral Home, 210 Post Road East, Westport. Friends are invited to attend a funeral Friday, July 24 at 11 a.m. in Assumption Church, 98 Riverside Ave. Westport, for a mass of Christian burial.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Westport Volunteer Emergency Medical Service or the Wounded Warrior Project.
