Woman Charged With Drunken Driving

A Massachusetts woman was arrested Monday afternoon after a truck driver flagged down a Westport police officer on patrol near the Exit 17 ramp of Interstate 95.

According to police reports, the truck driver told the officer that the driver of a car stopped on the ramp had been driving erratically on the highway. When officers approached the car, they found Donna Rurak in the driver's seat and reportedly smelled alcohol on her breath. Rurak, 47, failed field sobriety tests and was charged with operating under the influence. She is due in court Nov. 29.[breakhere]
