Three roofing companies have placed their bids to replace the Weston Town Library roof, said Town Administrator Tom Landry. The town opened bids two weeks ago and received proposals from Barrett Roofing of Danbury, Construction Queen of Weston, and J. Antonelli Roofing of Stamford, Landry said. He said the town had $250,000 to put toward project design and oversight. All of the bids fell below this mark, with Construction Queens bid being the lowest at $98,000. Barrett Roofings base bid was $220,000 and J. Antonellis was $178,850.Landry said the town is still reviewing the bids to make a decision and if they decide not to choose any of the current companies, it will reopen for bidding.
