Roads Closing For Construction Work At Westport's Bedford Square

WESTPORT, Conn. -- In the interest of public safety, to avoid traffic congestion downtown at peak times and to minimize neighborhood disruption, Westport has approved overnight construction work on Tuesday and Wednesday at Bedford Square.

Church Lane from the intersection of Elm Street to Post Road East will be closed for concrete pouring. Two-way traffic for construction vehicles only will be allowed on Church Lane during the overnight hours. General vehicular traffic will be detoured via Elm Street.
