As summer winds down, so does the beach season. But if you plan on hitting the beach as often as possible while the weather is nice, here's some important information to know before you go.
Starting Monday, no lifeguards will be on duty at Burying Hill Beach during the week but will be on duty on the weekend through Labor Day.
At Compo Beach, lifeguards will remain on duty during the week and weekend through Labor Day.
