WESTPORT, Conn. Four people were sent to the hospital Friday night after their car went down into a ditch on I-95 southbound between exits 18 and 17, fire officials reported.
The single-car accident was reported at 10:40 p.m. Upon arrival, firefighters found that the driver and three passengers had been ejected from the car. They were placed on backboards and transported to Norwalk Hospital by Westport EMS, Acting Fire Capt. Michael Kronick said.
The car was towed by a flatbed wrecker. The accident was cleared at 11:30 p.m.
