STRATFORD, Conn. — A former teacher's aide in Stratford pleaded guilty Thursday to sexually assaulting a 15-year-old boy, according to the Connecticut Post.
Kyle Damato-Kushel, who was the boy's preschool teacher, pleaded guilty to second-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a child, the Post said.
Under the plea bargain, Damato-Kushel, 48, faces 18 months in prison when sentenced March 14 and must register as a sex offender, the Connecticut Post said.
Damato-Kushel, who had worked at Wooster Middle School and lived in Stratford, had been having an ongoing sexual relationship with the victim since the summer of 2013, police said at the time of her arrest last January.
