Downed Transformer Closes Greens Farm Road

WESTPORT, Conn. – A car accident involving a utility pole has closed Greens Farms Road between Westway Road and Woodhill Road on Thursday afternoon. Police said the road will be closed until further notice.

According to reports at the scene, a transformer was brought down in the accident, causing power outages in the area. Connecticut Light & Power has been called in to repair the broken pole.
