Big Storm Bearing Down on Easton

Get your shovels ready, another storm is looming over Easton.

The National Weather Service issued a storm warning from 7 p.m. Tuesday until 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Snow will begin falling tonight with a chance of thunderstorms after midnight. Snow may be heavy at times after midnight, with total accumulation of four to eight inches and temperatures in the lower 20s. East winds 5 to 10 mph with gusts up to 25 mph after midnight.

Heavy snow is also predicted for Wednesay morning, with expected accumulation of 12 to 16 inches and highs around 30. Northwest winds will blow aroud 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph and the chance of snow is near 100 percent. There is also a 30 percent chance of snow for tomorrow night, the weather service reported.
