In the workshop, farm steward Mike Aitkenhead will teach participants everything they need to know in order to start their very own backyard organic vegetable gardens.
Topics covered will include garden types and designs, vegetable selection, creating a planting schedule, creating a garden layout and soil basics.
The cost of the workshop is $30 per person. The event is open to all ages, and no prior experience is required.

The maximum number of participants in the workshop is 20. Walk-ins will be accepted, but only if space is available.
