Westport's 203 Company Plans A Day To Help The Community

Westport, Conn. – The 203 Company, founded by Westport brothers Roscoe Brown and Terry Brown, will hold its first 203 Community Day on Feb. 3 at the Westport Library.

The siblings’ named their company for the region’s area code.

In the days leading up to the event at the library, 203 will use its social media accounts to encourage acts of kindness by offering prizes and rewards.

On Feb. 3, volunteers will gather at the front lawn of the Westport Library to distribute free gloves to those in need, hand-delivering as many pairs as possible within one hour. After delivering the gloves, the volunteers will gather at Westport’s homeless shelter to distribute donated food.

“We are hoping that this event sparks a change in our community — a desire to help others throughout the year," Roscoe Brown said.

Tory Brown said, “We are hoping that this goal becomes contagious.”
