WESTPORT, Conn. – The Tiny Miracles Foundation held its 11th anniversary gala recently at the Inn at Longshore in Westport.

Organized by co-chairs Valerie Saltzman and Carrie Cromwell-Hunt, both mothers of twins who are originally from Westport, the “Club Miracles” event raised money for the organization by featuring hors d’oeuvres, dinner, dancing and a dynamic silent and live auction.

Jane Geddes, a professional golfer and mother of premature twins, was the featured speaker at the May 6 event, according to a statement from the organization.

Leelee Klein, president and co-founder of The Tiny Miracles Foundation also spoke, announcing that the organization will open a new chapter in 2017 under the leadership of a new board president, Marisela Esposito of Weston.

The Tiny Miracles Foundation received substantial private and corporate sponsorship. Local businesses involved with the nonprofit included Springdale Florist & Garden Center, Zunda Group and Hanging on a Moment Photography.

The Tiny Miracles provides comprehensive support and assistance to preterm infants and their families in Fairfield County. The organization offers services and programs in the neonatal units of Stamford Hospital, Norwalk Hospital, Bridgeport Hospital and Danbury Hospital.
