Weston, Easton Hold Memorial Day Parades Monday

WESTON AND EASTON, Conn. – Weston and Easton will celebrate Memorial Day with parades Monday morning through the two towns.

Easton will hold its parade Monday starting at 9 a.m.. Marchers will step off from the Easton Fire Station and head down Center Road to Easton Town Hall. This year’s parade theme will honor First Responders. After the parade town leaders will offer their thoughts on the holiday in a ceremony at Town Hall.

Weston’s parade is also scheduled for Monday at 10:45 a.m. The route runs from School Road neat Weston High School to Route 53 and onto Norfield Road, and ends at Town Hall. A brief ceremony will follow with presentations from local dignitaries.

Monday is also the last day of Weston’s Memorial Day Fair at Hurlbutt Elementary School. The festival runs from noon to 5 p.m. Monday.
