REDDING, Conn. -- The Summer Triangle will be the star as the New Pond Farm Observatory in West Redding welcomes visitors for an evening of star-gazing Saturday.

Views can discover the summer stars of Vega, Altair and Deneb plus see the moons of Saturn and the phases of Venus. All ages are welcome for the show at 8 p.m., Saturday.

The program will point out some major points of interest in the summertime night sky. A prominent feature is the three stars of the Summer Triangle -- Vega, Altair and Deneb -- which are in separate constellations, Lyra the lyre, Aquila the eagle, and Cygnus the swan, respectively. Come find out and learn some of the nightly mysteries that are always right above our heads.
