Westport motorists should drive carefully Friday morning. Rain and snow are expected to make roads slippery.
The National Weather Service was predicting a 100 percent chance of precipitation Thursday night. Rain and snow were expected mainly before 11 p.m. Thursday and again after 4 a.m. Friday.
On Friday, there is a 100 percent chance of rain and snow before 11 a.m., followed by rain in the afternoon. A high of 41 is expected.
Rain will give way to mostly sunny skies Saturday, with highs near 47.
