WESTON, Conn. The Weston Public Library is opening its doors as a cooling center through Friday as a heat wave hits the area.
Temperatures are expected to reach 86 degrees on Wednesday, 93 degrees on Thursday and 96 degrees on Friday, according to the National Weather Service.
The library is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday.
