STAMFORD, Conn. -- The Stamford Town Center is making room for Japanese clothing retailer Uniqlo to join its lineup of stores, according to the Stamford Advocate.

The new storefront will be Uniqlo's second in Connecticut. It opened a 9,000-square-foot store in the Westfield Trumbull Mall in November, the Stamford Advocate reported.

At the Stamford Town Center, Uniqlo's will be located in the space that previously housed As Seen on TV and Who A.U.

No opening date has been announced, the Stamford Advocate said.
