Anthropologie Named First Tenant As Westport Development Breaks Ground

WESTPORT, Conn. – Anthropologie will be the anchor store of the new Bedford Square development in downtown Westport, which held a ceremonial groundbreaking Tuesday, reports Westport News.

Anthropologie, a seller of high-end clothing and home goods, will occupy about 40,000 square feet of retail space and is projected to open by Thanksgiving, according to the report.

The $100 million project, site of former Westport Weston Family Y, will provide 70,000 square feet of retail space, 24 residential apartments, office space and more than 100 underground parking spaces reports Westport News.
