FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Some light snow could mix in with rain on Monday morning in Fairfield County, ahead of what is expected to be a cool and mostly dry week in the region.
After a chance of snow mixing in the morning, all precipitation is expected to be light rain this afternoon, eventually tapering off later in the day, according to the National Weather Service. The rest of the day will be cloudy, with a high near 43. Monday night will be partly cloudy, with a low around 30.
Tuesday will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 44. Wind chill values will be between 25 and 35. There will be a north wind around 8 mph during the day. Tuesday night will be partly cloudy, and the low will be around 32.
It will be mostly sunny on Wednesday, when the temperature will warm up to a high near 48. Wednesday night will see a 30 percent chance of showers after midnight. Otherwise the night will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 39.
Thursday will be partly sunny, with a high near 51. Thursday night will be mostly clear, with a low around 31.
Sunny skies are expected on Friday, when the high will be near 45. Friday night will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 33.
