Mahopac Fire Department Lends Helping Hand At Middle School MAHOPAC, N.Y. - The Mahopac Middle School got a little help from its friends at the Mahopac Fire Department Friday morning. Mahopac FD members Jimmy Stasiak and John Scerra (also a middle school custodian) and their ladder truck helped the middle school custodians replace the cable for their flag pole which was damaged during the recent stormy weather. Middle School custodian Mr. Hans said he was grateful for the "lift". "We couldn't have done it without those guys," he said.
